This module explores dry skin management in depth so that both pharmacists and their teams can make a difference to customers looking for advice and support with their skin needs.

  • Understand the skin structure, function and microbiome and their impact on skin health
  • Appreciate the role of the skin microbiome in skin health
  • Be able to identify compromised skin conditions including eczema, and know when to refer to the GP
  • Understand the importance of emollients in the management of compromised skin, and the benefits of the AVEENO® range
