The AVEENO^® Daily Moisturising range

The Daily Moisturising range is formulated with oats and/or oat extract and is suitable for use on normal to dry skin.

Colloidal oatmeal is associated with a range of clinical benefits and is known for its moisturising and protective properties.¹² It helps to:

Prevent water loss, as it has occlusive properties

Promote water retention in the stratum corneum, as it has humectant properties

Restore the skin to a normal pH of 5.0 to 5.5, which helps support a healthy microbiome and restoration of the skin barrier

Enzymes, saponins, vitamins, flavonoids and prostaglandin inhibitors have an anti-inflammatory action¹⁴

Saponins absorb and solubilise dirt on the skin¹⁵

Avenanthramides, vitamin E and ferulic acid reduce the production of damaging reactive oxygen species¹⁶

Oatmeal acts as a buffering agent to help restore normal pH¹⁶
