Superdrug has expanded its nurse-led earwax removal service to 18 additional stores nationwide, responding to what it calls the rising demand for accessible and professional ear care on the high street.
Now available in over 35 Superdrug health clinics, the service offers patients two removal options – microsuction and irrigation – providing a tailored approach depending on wax location and severity, says the company.
With earwax-related issues affecting over 2 million people each year in the UK and many GP surgeries no longer offering removal, Superdrug’s £55 service fills a growing gap in ear health provision, it adds.
Rebecca Bishop, head of healthcare services at Superdrug, said: “There’s clearly a need for convenient, high-quality ear care. Our nurse-led clinics are designed to give patients quick, safe solutions they can trust.”
