Simply by creating the right content on its website, a pharmacy in Scotland that wanted its pharmacy services to be found online had 314,000 visitors between July 2020 and the beginning of April this year. That is an average of 15,000 visitors a month.

Those visitors were all able to browse information about the service they were looking for, without having to wait, without having to travel anywhere. They could book an appointment just as easily.

Imagine how much time it would take to process 15,000 visitors in a month. In one pharmacy. Even if each visitor could be dealt with in just two minutes – the average duration of their website visits – that’s 20.8 days of solid work. 

The website, of course, managed it all without blinking. Not only did it process them all, but it attracted them in the first place. 314,000 people who might otherwise have never visited the pharmacy, who all took to Google to solve a problem, and found this pharmacy.
