Impetigo, infected insect bites and stings

Aim

To update pharmacy technicians on impetigo and infected insect bites and stings – conditions included as part of the Pharmacy First service. 

Objectives

After completing this module and its online counterpart, pharmacy technicians will be able to:     

• Recognise impetigo cases and infected insect bites and stings
• Explain the management options
• Pass on self care advice.
