MHRA issues recall for Amlodipine 10mg tablets
The Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency has published a medicines recall for Amlodipine 10mg tablets.
The MHRA said the product’s manufacturer Accord Healthcare Limited issued the recall because of “out of specification results for tablet description, hardness and average weight obtained during stability testing.”
The MHRA urged healthcare professionals to immediately stop supplying the product that has a batch number of GY0128.
“Quarantine all stock from this batch and return it to your supplier using your supplier's approved process,” the MHRA said.
