According to the dictionary, entrepreneurs are people who take financial risks in setting up a business in the hope of making a profit. They are often seen as innovators, working at the cutting edge of businesses, developing new products and services. This module is an updated version of one first published more than six years ago. In it, the late Kirit Patel, one of pharmacy’s great modern day entrepreneurs, shared his principles for success. Those principles drove the growth of Day Lewis from a single community pharmacy in Tunbridge Wells to become the UK’s largest independent group.
