Introduction
Change is a constant, even discounting the exceptional times we are living through in 2020. Words like ‘transformation’ and ‘reset’ are the healthcare system buzzwords of the year. The five-year contract in England agreed last year was said by some to create a window for discussions on a radical redesign of what community pharmacy is incentivised and remunerated to do. Pharmacy businesses cannot avoid change, even when they are not actively looking for new opportunities. Busy pharmacists can’t take on even more, but they can work differently.
