The challenges of the pandemic - new working practices, growing medicines shortages, accelerated prescription demand - has resulted in a further rise (they were going up slowly) in complaints to the General Pharmaceutical Council. Fortunately, complaints that get that far are the tip of the iceberg. By developing an efficient system, most complaints can be resolved quickly; some may even hold lessons that can lead to improved service.
