Pharmacy2U has said patients can now use their NHS login details to register with it and access its services.
The online pharmacy said move gives NHS App users “greater choice and control over how they manage and receive their medication,” adding that at 15.4 million users in July the app had seen 26 per cent year-on-year growth, with 6.1 million ordering repeat prescriptions as of July.
Pharmacy2U superintendent pharmacist Phil Day commented: “Millions of people are already using the NHS App to manage their health, and using their NHS login with Pharmacy2U makes using our service feel familiar, quick and secure.
“Ultimately, this is about giving patients greater choice and control over how they manage their repeat prescriptions.”
