Sigma Pharmaceuticals celebrated a notable triumph after its digital business Sigcare Ltd won Best Use of Technology at the Inspiring Hertfordshire Awards.

The annual awards, hosted by Hertfordshire Chambers of Commerce, recognises innovation and achievement across a range of sectors. Sigcare Ltd, which helps healthcare providers manage the delivery of medicines to patients, beat off some tough competition to win the award at the Tewinbury Farm Hotel in Hertfordshire.

Sigcare Ltd was also a finalist in the Business of the Year (small to medium) category while Sigma’s non-executive director Hatul Shah and Sonia Shah were finalists in the Entrepreneur of the Year category.

Sigma founder Bharat Shah said: “This achievement reflects the professionalism, dedication and expertise of our team, whose commitment to delivering accessible, technology‑enabled healthcare continues to drive our progress.

“We are proud of the impact our work is making and remain focused on further advancing the services we provide.”
