June's Media Highlights
Viagra Connect has enabled over one million men to take action ontheir erection problems according to manufacturers Upjohn, who will shortly be targeting the three million yet to act with an £8m campaign designed to help men better understand erectile problems so they can reconnect with their partners. The campaign will highlight key facts, particularly the role played by contributory factors such as stress, an unhealthy diet, lack of sleep, smoking and poor mental wellbeing.
The brand, which broke newground last Autumn with a film series featuring real life couples talking about the impact erection problems have had on their relationships, is supporting its campaign with extensive training resources and comprehensive point of sale material made available to all pharmacies. The Care brand has launched a wellbeing training module, Wellbeing at Work, which includes information about managing challenges in the workplace as well as advice about being more mindful. Thornton & Ross says the Care brand has championed the treatment of minor health concerns for nearly 30 years and hopes the new training module will better support the pharmacy community so they can continue playing a vital role in frontline healthcare. The training can be downloaded here.
This module highlights a new opportunity to treat heartburn and reflux in the pharmacy with Omeprazole 20mg, which is newly available for customers to purchase OTC.
