Get ready for Urology Awareness Month
One in two people will experience a urology condition in their lifetime.
Urology Awareness Month helps raise awareness about the symptoms and aims to encourage people to speak to their doctor sooner.
Research commissioned by The Urology Foundation (TUF) found that 35 per cent of respondents would not seek help for fear of finding what blood in their urine means.
The Foundation is offering easy-to-read leaflets and posters on urology health and encouraging the UK to take part in the 5,317-mile Challenge – one mile for every person diagnosed with a urological cancer each month in the UK.
Find out more about the challenge at everydayhero.co.uk/event/TUF5317miles and theurologyfoundation.org
