New campaign urges people to get active
Fifteen leading health and social care organisations in the voluntary sector, with support from Sport England and Public Health England, have launched the ‘We Are Undefeatable’ campaign to change the misconception that those with long term health conditions can’t be active.
The campaign is aiming to inspire and empower those who are least active to build physical activity into their lives in small chunks, in a way that long term health conditions allow, whilst celebrating every little victory.
A range of resources can be ordered and downloaded from the Campaign Resource Centre. Pharmacies and GP surgeries across England should already have received a campaign toolkit with promotional material.
