This CPD module is about dealing with staff absenteeism. It will consider the impact of staff absence on businesses, and offer advice to manage and tackle it.
Goal:
- To improve the management of staff sickness and absence from the pharmacy.
Objectives:
- To understand the impact of planned and unplanned staff absence on the business
- The systems required to monitor absenteeism patterns
- Explore how to manage problematic absence and lateness
- Review possible staff attitudes to sickness and the psychological contract between employee and employer.
