Gaviscon is targeting those who will be feeling the effects of a few too many chocolate eggs and rich foods this Easter.

Point of sale displays in pharmacy for Gaviscon Double Action will link indulging at Easter to heartburn and indigestion in order to raise awareness amongst consumers.

In addition to in-store activity, the brand’s marketing campaign will run for four weeks across TV, radio, out of home and digital platforms.

Gaviscon senior brand manager Anne Dawson comments: “We want consumers to enjoy Easter to the full – but if heartburn and indigestion strike, Gaviscon Double Action can help to provide relief. Pharmacists are ideally placed to have conversations around managing heartburn and indigestion and addressing symptoms with a suitable product – particularly during a busy bank holiday period when more people will be on high streets.”
