It is good practice following a meeting to think about and evaluate what went well and whether the objectives were met. This can be done at the end of a meeting by participants if time permits. This process will enable improvements in how meetings are run in the future and benefit long-term effectiveness.
Actions, accountabilities and timelines which were recorded at the meeting should be finalised and a copy of these distributed to attendees and stakeholders, where required, following the meeting. This will ensure effective follow up and completion of actions in a timely manner.
