Making things happen
The activities above relate to the operational people leadership role of an area manager. They will also have a responsibility for operational people management. This is accomplished by ensuring an effective people plan is in place. This people plan might include:
- How staffing rotas are planned and amended
- How holidays are planned through the year
- Mandatory training (HCA, dispenser, Pharmacy Technician) is tracked and not falling behind
- Team members have up to date appraisals
- Team members have ongoing development plans which are being completed.
