Now in its tenth year, the Pharmacy Show will take place at the NEC in Birmingham this September – and registration is now open

The event will run for two days – 25 and 26 September – and as well as allowing you to meet representatives from more than 400 trade suppliers, it will also give you access to more than 100 educational sessions.

According to the Pharmacy Show organisers: “Whether you’re a pharmacist, a manager, pharmacy technician or part of the pharmacy team, you need to be here… This is your chance to join thousands of fellow pharmacy professionals for a buzzing, action-packed two days.”

Here are just a few of the things you can look forward to:

  • The RB for Health Education Zone will present a comprehensive programme of short, sharp presentations on key OTC therapy areas, helping you to support customers in managing their own health. Subjects will include dry eye, fever, heartburn, headache, skin disorders and respiratory infections. There will also be a session on how to market your pharmacy so that people in your community know how you can support their health
  • The Public Health & Wellbeing Forum: From illness to wellness, sponsored by Training Matters, will offer practical advice on the best ways to run health and wellbeing clinics, as well as covering the whys and hows of the healthy living pharmacy concept. Topics will include smoking cessation, diabetes, mental health, atrial fibrillation screening, emergency contraception and nutrition for early life
  • The Keynote Theatre: Pharmacy 2016 and Beyond, sponsored by Pharmacy Magazine, is where Government officials, regulatory and leadership organisations, as well as entrepreneurs and grass roots pharmacists will discuss and debate the big topics affecting pharmacy in 2016 and beyond.
