Day Lewis Plc has pledged to continue efforts to support its workforce after being awarded gold accreditation against the Investors in People Standard. The company retains the gold status it first achieved in 2013.
Out of 14,000 companies worldwide that hold an Investors in People accreditation, only 1.5 per cent have attained gold status.
Rupa Patel, one of the company’s three executive directors, said: “Together with my fellow directors, we feel honoured to have retained Gold Investors in People accreditation, an award that is only achieved because of the great people we have at all levels of our business.
“Further, we feel privileged to lead Day Lewis, a values-driven business, founded by my late father and uncle and passionately nurtured for over 40 years. Our motivation is to continue their great work for the next 40 years, to provide long-term employment to all of our Day Lewis colleagues, to enable them to feel part of a large and successful family business.â€
Paul Devoy, head of Investors in People, said: “We’d like to congratulate Day Lewis Plc. Investors in People accreditation is a sign of a great employer, an outperforming place to work and a clear commitment to success. Day Lewis should be extremely proud of their achievement.â€
