Well launches major new campaign
Well, the UK’s largest independent pharmacy chain, has launched a £350,000 marketing campaign to promote awareness of its prescriptions service.
‘Experts on Prescriptions’ will run until the end of August. The campaign aims to increase brand awareness, drive prescriptions and further improve consumer perceptions of Well, says the company.
The campaign appears in traditional media, digital and outdoor platforms, and is being supported by activity with store colleagues. It features bold tag lines to promote the company’s patient care ethos, including ‘Experts on Prescriptions, not Avocados’.
Janice Perkins, Well’s pharmacy superintendent, said: “This campaign is a first for Well and a clear statement that the health and wellbeing of patients is our number one priority, and that we are experts in medication first and foremost.
“We need to raise awareness of what we do every day for patients, and reinforce the message that patients trust us to manage their prescriptions and healthcare. This is especially important at a time when healthcare is at the top of the news agenda nationally due to the rounds of NHS spending reviews; GPs are under increased pressure; and pharmacies are facing increased challenges following funding cuts.â€
