RECOMMEND OTRIVINE EXTRA DUAL RELIEF IN PHARMACY

The common cold is the conventional term used to describe a mild, self-limited, viral, upper respiratory tract infection characterised by nasal stuffiness and discharge, sneezing, sore throat and cough.

Otrivine Extra Dual Relief contains Xylometazoline hydrochloride (0.5mg/ml) and Ipratropium bromide (0.6mg/ml) and has been launched as a new pharmacy-only medicine. It is indicated for the relief of nasal cold symptoms associated with the common cold in adults. This is the first time that this combination of ingredients has been available.

This training module has been produced to ensure that pharmacists have the knowledge they need to recommend this product appropriately.
