Global action on dementia agreed

World Health Organization member states have agreed to support a formal call for action to tackle dementia. Countries agreed overarching principles and approaches that will be required to highlight the problem internationally at the WHO Global Action Against Dementia Conference. Health Secretary Jeremy Hunt also announced at the conference a $100 million Dementia Discovery Fund was to be set up.
