This CPD module is about supporting your staff to take on more. It will cover the responsibilty a manager has when it comes to delegating power onto their employees and the differences between delegation and empowerment.

Delegation of power is a very important aspect of business management

Goal:

To create a culture of responsible delegation and empowerment.

Objectives:

  • Understand the challenges of delegating responsibility
  • Appreciate the relationship of skill and will with employee motivation
  • Adopt the correct management style to pass responsibility to employees
  • Explore the manager’s role in delegation and empowerment within the workplace.

About this module
