Pharmacy In BUSINESS

Pharmacy business & management community responds to the pharmacy cuts

Community pharmacies in England have received a damaging blow in the form of substantial cuts to Government funding. What are the next steps they should take?

LAUNCHING: Share your best business & management advice

Help pharmacy teams to pull together to be the best they've ever been, to stay in business and continue to give patients the excellent local pharmacy service they rely on.

We're looking for the best practical advice and guidance you can offer.

Can you help? The Pharmacy In BUSINESS project, hosted by P3, is looking to bring together the best business and management advice from pharmacy, healthcare and academia. This will build a useful resource for everyone to use: at p3pharmacy.co.uk/pharmacyinbusiness

Please take a few minutes to help community pharmacy respond quickly and effectively to the new climate by contributing your best, most positive and practical ideas that pharmacy teams can start working on right away.

Please share: your advice and ideas below

(up to 300 words; if you want to write something longer than this, we'd be equally delighted – simply contact us at P3@1530.com.)

  • If you are an experienced independent pharmacist – what are the things that you are suggesting your own team do?
  • If you are running a pharmacy or working in a pharmacy – what ideas have you tried that work well?
  • If you are in management in a multiple – do encourage your best people to share a couple of ideas.
  • If you are part of the NHS, in general practice or a commissioning group - what advice or ideas do you have for pharmacy teams?

Your comments will be checked and read through before being made available for others to see at p3pharmacy.co.uk/pharmacyinbusiness

Thank you for your involvement in the Pharmacy in BUSINESS project
