Boots UK has launched a new pharmacy-led Healthy Heart Service Check for anyone aged 25 to 84. ‘A well-trained Boots UK pharmacist can often empower people so that they can take informed and preventative steps to look after their heart health, and reduce their risk of CVD and heart disease’, said Peter Bainbridge, director of pharmacy at Boots UK.

The new scheme is being piloted in selected Boots pharmacies across London and the north-east of England.
