Omega Pharma complete £500,000 refit of Warman-Freed pharmacy

Omega Pharma’s Warman-Freed pharmacy has celebrated its re-launch after a £500,000 refit.

Since its acquisition in 2014, the Golders Green based pharmacy has been gathering insights from customers on pharmacy issues.

“Our learning’s so far have given us the confidence to implement several changes, from discontinuing low volume/low profit lines that don’t add value to our business, to restructuring the business to ensure flexibility and shared responsibilities,” said Joanna Mills, pharmacy research manager at Omega Pharma.

The company has been using the pharmacy to test customer profile tracking, an integrated EPOS and prescription check out system, as well as sophisticated heat mapping.

These elements combine to provide insights into its customer base and help determine the most popular fixtures, products and the ideal path to purchase.

Warman-Freed has been sharing what they’ve learnt in monthly articles for P3 throughout 2015. The most recent of which can be found here.
