Independent pharmacy support organisation Numark is now part of a Europe-wide umbrella group established by owners Phoenix, bringing together around 9,000 pharmacies with the potential to “share synergies”. The Phoenix Pharmacy Partnership, launched this week, covers 12 local programmes in 15 countries, and, says Phoenix, forms the largest network for pharmacy cooperation in Europe.

“With Phoenix Pharmacy Partnership, we provide individual pharmacies and pharmaceutical manufacturers across Europe with customised solutions for their local and regional needs”, commented Oliver Windholz, chief executive officer of the Phoenix group.

“Thanks to its presence in a total of 26 countries and many years of experience as a pharmaceutical wholesaler and pharmacy operator, Phoenix possesses comprehensive knowledge of local markets that are now being combined under one umbrella through Phoenix Pharmacy Partnership.”

Other brands and countries in the partnership include PharmaVie in France, Midas in Germany, Alore Salute in Italy, Topas in Austria, Adiva in Croatia, Apteek1 in Estonia, Aptieka1 in Latvia, Betty in Bosnia Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Macedonia and Serbia, Partner in Slovakia, PharmaPoint in Czech Republic and Szimpatika in Hungary.
